DATED 1940 GOLDEN AGE SUPERMAN SCRAPBOOK WITH WWII World War 2 WAR CLIPPINGS
Original vintage 1940, Superman #2 cover scrapbook album number 178 filled with World War 2 World War II news and magazine clippings. Very cool collection of the 1940’s war effort as portrayed in the print media. Great graphics.
There are 24 pages and both front and back are full of historical clippings from WW II. This is a very interesting old 1940 golden age Superman scrapbook with World War 2 advertisements and other informational clippings regarding War Bonds, Blimps, Tanks, Boats, Ships, Planes, Soldiers, Air Force, Marines, etc
Some ads from these companies appear: Camel Cigarettes, USS Steel, Philco, Nash, Cadillac, Chris Craft, Stetson.
Scrapbook measures approximately 14.5" inches long by 10.5" inches wide. Some pages and cover are loose from binding, some tears to pages. Scrapbook has wear to cover from age and use, but is in pretty good shape for its age.
