    Description

The Pearlette was a 127 film camera (similar in size to the Kodak Vest Pocket series) made in Japan by Konishiroku, a predecessor to Konica.  The lens is a 75mm f6.3 Rokuoh-sha Optor.  This example is probably from the postwar production, although the 1940-41 model is said to look substantially the same.  It does NOT say "Made in Occupied Japan", but not all of the postwar examples do.
The camera is in very nice cosmetic condition with no damage or peeling of the crinkled finish black leatherette.  The metal parts of the case show light wear.  The shutter is functional, but the accuracy of the speeds has not been tested.  The bellows looks nice, but if you shine a flashlight through it in a dark room you will see many pinholes.
