    Description

Dual-Fan Quiet Component Cooling system with an Enlarged Air-chamber base & multi-speed control
These two 80mm fan units are designed sit on your component's top air vents.
Each fan has a special raised air-chamber base, which covers twice the area of a standard fan.
A vortex of air is pulled out of the top of your component over the full area of these raised bases.
In addition, you control the speed of the fans, with the multi-voltage power transformer.
Plug the power unit into a switched AC outlet on your system, and the fans will only come on when the equipment is turned on or the switch is activated.  This cooling system is intended for Amplifiers, Receivers and other components with top air vents -- especially Onkyo, Sony, and other hot receivers.
    What's
    Included?
    THE COOLING SYSTEM INCLUDES:
1 x Dual 80mm fan unit,  1 x multi-speed power transformer, and printed installation instructions.
    Note:
    I
n the listing pictures, the component cooling systems are shown in two views:  1) On top of a receiver or other component to show how it is used and 2) against a colored panel, displaying the complete system.
These components and panels are used for display purposes only, and are not included with the system.
    1 x dual-80mm
    fan unit, with
    raised airchamber
    bases. Each base
    doubles the area
    where air enters
    the fans. The
    fans can be
    separated up to
    20" apart.
    1 x multi-speed
    power transformer,
    with a 4-1/2 foot
    cable.  You can
    choose from 6
    different speeds
    for the fans.
    Features
This cooling system has two high-quality, low-noise 80mm fans, with long-lasting and quiet fluid dynamic bearings.
Each fan unit has a specially-constructed raised air-chamber base that enlarges the area of air flow, while also sealing air and preventing vibrations.
Each air-chamber base covers twice the area of a standard fan.
Includes a multi-speed power transformer, which plugs into any 120 volt outlet.  You control the speed of the fan, using this multi-speed transformer, which can be set to any one of 6 different speeds.
Plug the power unit into a switched AC outlet on your system, and the fans will only come on when the equipment is turned on or the switch is activated.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS:  The unit's power transformer (supplied with the cooling system), can be switched to either 110/120 volt or 220/240 volt operation.  However, the transformer uses the standard US-style 2-prong plug.
Contact me if you need an adapter plug (there is no charge), and specify one of the three types:  1) NZ/AU  (2 slanted prongs) 2) Euro (2 round prongs), or UK (three large prongs).
Even at medium speeds settings, the fans will replace a volume of air equal to that of most components several times per minute.
All cooling system parts connect together using special heavy-duty Molex quick-connect plugs, which allows the parts to be separated for easy wire-routing.
The system comes completely assembled, with all components installed, wired and ready to go!
Just plug it in, and drop the fans on top of your receiver.
    Specifications
    Fan dimensions:
Each fan unit is 4-3/4" square, 1-1/2" tall (including the top grill and air-chamber base), and only requires 3/8" of space above for air flow.
    Maximum current draw:
.32 amps or 3.85 watts.  Normal operation (at lower speeds) will draw less current and watts.
    Bearing type:
Super quiet, long lasting Fluid Dynamic bearings.
The table below shows specifications for
both of the 80mm fans running together
    , at several different speeds.
The shaded area on the table indicates suggested fan speeds for this system.
