    Description

    Original and most superb WWII U.S. GI issue barrel for Remington Rand, Ithaca, and Union Switch & Signal manufactured Model 1911A1 .45 caliber semi-automatic pistol. This original blued High Standard barrel is marked "HS" on one side of the lug, and military proofed "P" on the other. These High Standard manufactured barrels were used in new production WWII U.S. M1911A1 pistols, and also any Colt 1911 or 1911A1 pistol that went back for rebuilds or repair. Being still in its original WWII production blued (not parkerized) finish, it would be great to make your Remington Rand, Ithaca, or US&S pistol original again. Especially if somewhere along the line the pistol has had its original barrel replaced.
